April 18th – October 19th – Garden-show
The third Rhineland-Palatinate Garden Show will take place in
Bingen on the Rhine from 18th April to 19th October 2008. We
heartily invite you to come and enjoy 185 days of wonderful
flowers and the kaleidoscope of colour. Enjoy the time at
numerous events in and around the garden. Relax, enjoy the
sunset and celebrate a magical day with a glass of wine from
Bingen.
May 8th – 10th – Festival of Sparkling Wines
A great festival with Live Music for all who like Sparkling
Wines and good atmosphere. Visit Bingen and enjoy great
Sparkling Wines in the heart of the town from wine growers
around Bingen.
May 22th – 24th – Romantic Wine Night
A little nice festival with Live Music and wine from the
surroundings in the middle of the vineyards on “Rochusberg”.
When the gloaming begins hundreds of fire lights inflaming and
shows you a fantastic romantic atmosphere with a magnificent
view over the Rhine. A really special wine experience – where
the grapes grow.
June 27th – 29th – Bingen Swings
In Bingen, the last weekend in June is always a Mecca for
jazz friends. Every year many jazz and blues bands visit Bingen
and show you their great performance. Top class international
and local performers thrill the heart of every jazz and swing
fan!
June 5th - The Rhine bathed in fire
Fantastic fireworks and illumination displays light up the
evening sky. Enjoy this spectacle on many places near the Rhine
or from a ship.
August 17th – 24th – Rochus Festival
A religious festival with a great look over Bingen and the
Rhine.
August 29th – September 8th Vintner Festival in Bingen
The Vintner Festival in Bingen is like wine; you have to try
it! For eleven days time takes on a different dimension. It is a
time for celebrating, dancing, music and laughter. A firework
display at Klopp Castle and a vintner parade are just two
reasons to visit this festival. For every taste and for every
age group there are things to do. Vintners offer there wines,
and for the kids is a funfair with car-scooter and other
attractions.
December 12th – 14th – Christmas Market
A snugly nice Christmas market in the shade of St. Martin
Basilica.
