Cirrus Göteborg
Skydiving is an adventure and experience as well as a sport
with competitions in different events.
Formation, freeflying, birdman suit, skysurfing, precision
and speedskydiving are some of the events in which
Fallskärmsklubben Cirrus is involved. The club is an
amalgamation of Göteborgs Fallskärmsklubb and Cirrus. The jumps
are performed in three places in Western Sweden: Näsinge,
outside Strömstad, Vårgårda and here at Göteborg City. There is
also a club room and café.
Skydiving is usually carried out between March and October.
The club arranges courses and offers tandem jumps, advertising
and exhibition jumps.
To get to the skydiving club: take the turning just east of
the northern end of the runway. The premises are on the military
side of the airport.
